Skip the overpriced store bought protein bars, and make your own out of ingredients you already own! When I first started eating healthier, I would spend so much money on protein bars. I didn’t just buy the generic ones, I bought the high priced, expensive bars, that were running me about $3 a piece. While I still […]

Oh, Healthy Chocolate Pumpkin Bread, where do we even begin? Let’s start from the beginning: When I was in high school I distinctly remember saying to my mom “I’d rather workout twice a day than have to eat healthy”. What?? Who was I? While I was always athletic and did every sport under the sun, […]

With the upcoming school / fall season, life seems to get busier and busier by the minute. Though I have been out of school for a year now, I still feel the same stress I had during my school days when the seasons change. To start fall off on a good foot, I try to eliminate as much stress as possible by creating easy day to day routines that make everything flow easier. This includes making meals the night before, planning out my gym schedule, creating a to-do list, and of course: having plenty of snacks handy for those times when you are hangry (angry due to being hungry – it’s a real thing, I swear).

As the weather is getting warmer, I find myself craving cold treats more and more. Let’s be honest though, my obsession all year round? Ice-cream. I love it SO much. As a kid, I never wanted cupcakes or cake for celebrations, I always chose ice-cream. You can even bet that every year for my birthday I picked out the coolest ie-cream cake you could find.
Now, what if I told you that you could eat ice-cream EVERY day while staying healthy, fit, etc? This banana ice-cream is such a dreammmmm. The consistency is A+, the taste is A+, and the nutrition is A+! All A’s babyyy, how’s that for a report card?

Hi guys! Today, i’m back with my favorite avocado toast recipe EVER. While avocado toast is always a classic, this Spicy Cilantro combo is unlike anything you’ve ever tried. It’s spicy, salty, cool, and buttery tasting all at the same time. Simply give this combination once and you’ll be hooked; take my word for it.
While avocados are always a tasty addition to any dish, avocados + hot spices = a heavenly sensation. In this recipe, the light and cool flavor of the avocado pairs perfectly with the heat of the hot sauce & chili powder. Serving as a great source of healthy fat, avocados are a food that everyone should be incorporating into their diet in some way. While they’re super easy to eat due to being delicious, they’re also great for your skin, hair, and improve your digestion. Add this 5 minute toast into your weekly rotation and reap all of the delicious benefits avocados have to offer!

I looooooove bliss balls. I’m such a fan of anything cute, little, and snacky. I know most people think snacking is bad, but I totally disagree. When you’re snacking on ridiculously tasty caramel balls packed with nutrients, what could be the problem with that? I also really enjoy any recipe that I can pop in […]

If you haven’t made your own popsicles before, I suggest you start now 🙂 Popsicles are healthy, easy to make, ridiculously cost efficient, and a super tasty treat. All of those things are awesome, right? Even though i’d regularly go for a fudge bar over something fruity, lemon is a nice, refreshing change of pace. These popsicles are […]

These protein balls are a delicious, any time snack. They take less than 10 minutes to make, and even less time to eat 😉 They’re awesome broken up into oatmeal, smothered in dark chocolate, or eaten by themselves. The minimal ingredients makes the prep, and clean up super easy. Also, since everything is combined in […]

So apparently today is national chocolate chip day. I was very excited about this, because who doesn’t love chocolate chips? This creation came about because I had to use up some tofu in my fridge, and wanted to eat some chocolate (everyday). This is super tasty and filling. The tofu supplies this mousse with tons […]

Who doesn’t love a good protein bar? They’re great to bring on the go, as well as tasty, quick, and filling. When I realized that I finished 3 boxes of Quest Bars in an embarrassingly short amount of time, I figured I should make some of my own protein bars to fill the void. Though […]

Everybody knows strawberries and chocolate are one of the best combinations. Even though they’re so simple to make, I thought i’d share what I used to make them. They’re a great snack for when you’re craving something short and sweet. Yields : 15 chocolate covered strawberries 1 cup of chocolate chips or a chocolate bar […]

Hi everyone! I made this banana bread this morning and it turned out awesome. I honestly wanted to eat the whole loaf in one sitting but that’s probably frowned upon. It is, however, good enough for you that you could eat the whole thing and not even feel guilty! Ingredients: 1 cup of whole wheat pastry flour […]
