Lace Up Everything

Every time winter rolls through, I always find myself getting a little discouraged with my outfit choices. While I love a big comfy sweater and some boots, sometimes the cold leaves me feeling uninspired.  You know when you wake up in the morning and it’s freezing so putting on anything other than leggings and a sweater sounds awful? Same, that’s me everyday before work at 6am.

Feeling determined not to get into the rut of wearing the same lazy outfits every day, I decided to stock up on comfortable basics that have an interesting twist. For example, I can’t get enough of this sweater. While it’s technically just a regular tan crewneck, the lace up top and sleeves really add a simple statement.  I also have my eye on a few others and can’t wait to order them (Christmas presents anyone? 😉 ). The bell sleeves and cut out on this one are so cute. Also, these jeans are soft, stretchy, and feel like buttahhh so I find myself wearing them everywhere I go.
