Ripped Up

Fall is the best season. The leaves changing, pumpkin flavored food is sold everywhere, pie is made frequently, there are haunted houses, and there is endless amounts of beautiful nature. While there’s a lot of reasons to love fall, my absolute favorite is how easily outfits are put together.  Want to wear your summer skirt with a long sleeve shirt? Go for it. In the mood to wear jeans and a tank top? That’s A-okay. Because the weather is cooperative enough that your not sweating or freezing, the outfit possibilities are endless!

As sad as I am to see summer go, I’m happy that fall allows me to wear jeans without sweating my butt off. There’s something so simple & satisfying about putting on a pair of jeans because you’re already half done putting together an outfit without trying too hard. While I really used to hate pants/jeans, I think it just took me awhile to find the right ones.  If you’re a fellow jean hater, I strongly advise looking into American Eagle & Express jeggings. They are h e a v e n. Every time I wear them I feel like I could take over the world. I initially really hated pants due to the lack of movement they allow, but jeggings are soOO different (picture me doing squats & yoga in the dressing room to see just how much they stretch hahah).

Another recent love of mine is this black bag. I’ve been looking for a black purse for awhile that was simple and chic without being too extra (I tend to go for wild colors & too much fringe haha) so this one is perfect!
