While we all know eating a well-balanced breakfast can help set your day up for success, often times, we skip it since we’re so rushed in the morning. I get it. I am definitely not a huge morning person and if I have the option to sleep 10 more minutes instead of making myself a big, beautiful breakfast, you bet I will. Since I’m huge on saving time in the morning but know how much better I feel once I’ve gotten a good breakfast in, I’ve been addicted to make-ahead meals.
These are anything you can put together at night, grab, and go the next day. It’s the best life hack ever. You get those extra precious minutes of sleep in the morning and have an envy-worthy breakfast that will help start your day on a good note. That’s why I’ve been so obsessed with these Make-Ahead Breakfast Parfaits. They’re easy, and, since I’m using dairy-free Good Plantsâ„¢ almond milk probiotic yogurt alternative, these parfaits are suitable for so many types of eating patterns or lifestyles.
Ever since I gave up dairy a few years ago, I’ve been dying for a good non-dairy yogurt alternative to come out so I could get my parfait on. When I saw Danone introduced Good Plantsâ„¢ Almondmilk Probiotic Yogurt Alternative, I was so excited. Good Plantsâ„¢ is certified vegan, dairy free, and has 70% less sugar than most almond milk yogurt alternatives*. I love how creamy it is and how perfectly it works with this recipe. Currently, you can find Good Plants Almondmilk Probiotic Yogurt Alternative at Hannaford, Shoprite, Giant, Harris Teeter stores!
While I used strawberries and blueberries here, feel free to use whatever fruit you’d like! I also think bananas would be great with the Good Plants Chocolate Coconut flavor, and apples would be great with the Vanilla. For an extra protein boost, I also mix some protein powder into my yogurt alternative prior to making the parfait! I love how versatile these are and how you can really make them your own.
If you give this recipe a try, let me know in the comments how you liked it or chat with me over on Instagram here. I can’t wait to see how much you guys enjoy these parfaits and Good Plantsâ„¢ almond milk yogurt alternative!
Ingredients:
*Here, I used the Chocolate Coconut Almondmilk Probiotic Yogurt Alternative with the strawberries and the Vanilla Almondmilk Probiotic Yogurt Alternative with the blueberries. Feel free to mix it up!*
