Gingham Midi Dress

Gingham, it’s a weird word right? I remember the first time I told my mom I wanted a gingham skirt, I pronounced it like “ginge-ham” hahah. While I have learned to pronounce the word correctly over time, my love of gingham has still stayed strong. There’s just something about this simple, checked pattern that feels timeless and effortless. It reminds me of warm summer days.

On the real, this midi dress gives me all the feels. From it’s cold shoulder nature to it’s length & belt, I love everything about it! Since i’m only about 5’4, midis and maxis are regularly way too long for me. This one however, falls at the perfect length. It hits right below the knee and is crazy comfortable. It also has an elasticized waist so it’s easy to move around in and has unlimited donut eating capacity (an important thing). My biggest pet peeve is clothes that look pretty but are uncomfortably stiff & tight!

If you haven’t looked at Shein yet for your summer closet, you are definitely missing out. Though i’ve definitely heard mixed reviews from buyers, i’ve had nothing but good experiences. Plus, their prices are SO good they’re hard to pass up. I’m a sucker for a good deal.

Also, these heels are one of my favorite things i’ve ever bought! I love that the heel is low enough to walk in, but comfortable enough to wear for hours on end. The tie up detail also helps because the suede straps are super soft & don’t cause any blisters. Is anyone else prone to getting blisters all the time? I hope i’m not the only one hahah. Because I have sensitive feet, I always get super excited to find shoes that are comfortable. No matter the case, you’ll LOVE these.
