Though many people don’t realize it, making granola takes no time at all, and it can be done with ingredients you probably already have in your pantry. Making granola at home is a great way to control the amount of sugar, fats, carbs, etc. that goes into your snack.
Sadly, most store bought granolas are packed with sugar and loaded with fillers and nasty preservatives. Sure, they’re not bad if you eat them in moderation, but I love to eat granola as cereal, or as a full fledged meal (breakfast for every meal is a thing ok). This granola however, can be eaten as much as you want because all of the ingredients are totally healthy.
This granola is light, toasty, sweet, and tangy from the help of honey and dried fruit. Like I said above, granola can be used as cereal, or even as a topping for smoothies, yogurt, or ice-cream. It’s a great thing to have around the house for when you need a little crunch or something to snack on.
