When you’re readddddy come and get it!
MMMMMM, these are so good. I seriously took down 6 myself. I’m sorry? When there’s food involved I kind of go crazy. These will please anyone. Chocolate and banana are two universally delicious flavors that are a sure fire crowd pleaser. Plus, 3 ingredients? It can’t get easier than that.
These are crispy, melty, chocolatey, and everything you could ever want in a dessert (or breakfast ;)). A big plus is that bananas AND dark chocolate are both filled with antioxidants that do a multitude of wonderful things for your body. Consuming foods that are high in antioxidants have proven to be good for your heart health, and can also lower your risk of infections and some forms of cancer. Awesome right?
After realizing just how easy these are to make, i’m definitely going to use wonton wrappers more often. They’re whole wheat, super low calorie, and pretty inexpensive (which is rarely the case when it comes to health food). Go round up these simple ingredients, and make yourself this delicious snack!
Chocolate Banana Wontons
Yields: 12 wontons (6 servings)
* I actually used 6 egg roll wrappers for this and cut them in half so I had 12 “wonton” wrappers. This worked really well because the egg roll wrappers are square but when you cut them (corner to corner) in half, they come out like triangles.
** I also topped these with an extra coating of Walden Farms chocolate syrup because i’m a chocolate addict.

My goodness, Katerina! These look amazing, the flavour combo is right up my alley 🙂 I’ve used wonton wrappers to make different kinds of wontons, but never sweets… can’t wait to try it out!
