While the new season brings gorgeous weather, it also brings something very important: new clothes. As an avid shopper (i’m a #treatyoself kind of girl, yah feel?), I love to see my favorite brand’s new season collections.  I lived for flipping through new lookbooks and seeing what kinds of amazing pieces are going to be all over in a few months.

Looking at a few sites gives you a good feel for what styles are going to be big this season, as well as which of your old pieces you can mix and match with your new ones. Since I’ve already picked up a few things here & there, I thought it would be fun to share with you guys some spring trends you can try out today and some affordable pieces to invest in this season. If I had to pick a favorite piece of all: it would hands down be the watermelon mules (#8 in the photo). I mean, watermelon SHOES? That sounds like a need to me.

Mules are a great way to add some height to your outfits without having to go full on heels.

Yep, you’re seeing it. Your mom’s old fanny pack is BACK. While they definitely have a retro feel, I’m loving belt bags for their convenience and ease.
