Whenever I used to read about overnight oats, I never saw the appeal. Something about cold oats just never seemed right to me. The first time I made them, I was very skeptical. When I tried them however, my opinion was instantly turned around.
The beauty of overnight oats is that there is no real cooking involved, and they are ready to eat when you wake up in the morning. They are perfect to make when you’re always on the go, or when you simply are too lazy (me most of the time) to make breakfast when you wake up.
Peach Cobbler Overnight Oats
Yields: 1 serving of oatmeal
Topping:
First, measure a 1/2 cup of quick oats into a measuring cup. Then, add protein, stevia, and flax. Next, add egg whites, butter extract, and almond milk. Mix everything together in the measuring cup, then microwave for one minute. After the minute, mix and add 2 more tbsps of milk. After the extra milk is mixed in, pour the oatmeal mixture in a jar and top it with a chopped peach, and granola.
